Nathan Krause Receives Associate's Degree from UW-Waukesha

2012 May 17

Nathan Krause, Brookfield, was among 136 students to receive their associate's degree at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha's spring commencement May 17.

Krause, was part of UW-Waukesha's largest graduating class in school history. The previous high, 107, was set in spring 2002.

"This year's number of graduates is fantastic and gives testimony that we are on track as a campus to achieve the goal of increasing the number of students who begin their higher education academic careers with us to the point of degree completion," said UW-Waukesha Dean/CEO Harry Muir. "It also shows that our faculty and staff are doing everything they can to help our students achieve their personal, career and academic goals."

Students must earn at least 60 college credits in five different areas and maintain a cumulative 2.0 grade point average (on a scale of 4.0) to qualify for a degree. UW-Waukesha confers associate of arts & science degrees and prepares students to transfer to a baccalaureate institution for a bachelor's degree.
