Chloe Rettinger Receives Award for Excellence in Student Leadership

Student leaders at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha were recognized April 25 during the college's Student Leadership Banquet.

Chloe Rettinger, Waukesha, received an Award for Excellence in Student Leadership.

Rettinger is the current president of both Campus Crusade for Christ and the Ballroom Dance Club, which she founded. She is involved with Phi Theta Kappa and helped out this school year with ACT and College Republicans. In her application, Rettinger wrote that "a leader is someone that is willing to work with the people you are leading. Leadership is not dictatorship. It is important to listen to others' input and ideas and to be understanding and willing to compromise."
