Chloe Rettinger Named Emerging Leader at UW-Waukesha

Chloe Rettinger, Waukesha, received the Emerging Leader Award at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha's Student Leadership Banquet on April 26.

Rettinger became active in campus life immediately upon enrolling at UW-Waukesha, where she is a member of the College Republicans and Campus Crusade for Christ. In addition, she was instrumental in getting the Ballroom Dance Club off the ground.

"Chloe has been a major reason that the club has enjoyed such success," said Michael Mattek, advisor for the Ballroom Dance Club. "She actively participated in the club, recruited students, created a bulletin board, catered the dances, decorated, and helped clean up when it was all over. Chloe exemplifies the ideas of a servant leader – she is more interested in helping others and contributing to the common good than in gaining praise for herself."
